a.m.  Nursery and children's church are provided.  Bible study each
Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Education Building.  "A Walk Through
Prophecy" Bible study meets Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the Library.  The
youth group meets at 5:00 p.m. at the church.  The United Methodist Men
will meet Sunday at Shoney's at 8:30 a.m.  A special Service of Healing
and Prayer will be held on Sunday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the
sanctuary for those seeking God's healing grace, comfort, and peace for
any situation or affliction, physical, emotional, or spiritual.

sanctuary choir, Holy Communion will be observed.  Sunday, April 27,
Deacon Donald Crews will be guest speaker at 4:00 p.m. for the annual
scholarship program and music by Ms. Jackie Jeffries of Danville as

DAN RIVER BAPTIST ASSOCIATION
The DRBA Senior Revival is scheduled for today at 10:30 a.m. at the Dan
River Baptist Church. Dr. Black is a Professor at Southeastern
Theological Seminary and has traveled the world teaching and preaching
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the first Revival offered to the
senior of our area in recent years. In addition to Dr. Black, Elton and
Hilda Johnson will be sharing their ministry through special music.
Vicky Cole, association mission's member will bring light hearted words
of encouragement.

The UMW of the church will host a spaghetti supper on Saturday, April

from an abusive background with only a ninth grade education, but has
gone on to make a wonderful life for herself.  She worked and received
her GED, went on to become a nurse, and with the Lord's help on to
receive a college degree from the Boyce Bible College of the Southern
Baptist Theological Seminary. Janet has 8 Gospel CD's and is now
working on her 9th one.  She loves to sing and tell of her Lord and
Savior and all that he has done for her.  Janet has had Multiple
Sclerosis and other medical conditions from which she suffers from, but
the Lord has taken care of her so she could minister to others.  All
are welcome to attend.
