The Halifax Village Business Association is sponsoring its first Wine Festival on September 8 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Main Street, Halifax. Admission will be $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the gate.
Wineries that will be present include Bright Meadows Winery, Nathalie, Peaks of Otter Winery, Bedford, Rebec Vineyards, Amherst and Tomahawk Mill Winery, Chatham.
Entertainment will be provided by local musical talents 6th and Main and Blues Report and food vendors will be Breedlove's Seafood and GOM Concessions and craft vendors will also line the street.
The event is sponsored by Cherokee Tobacco, HRII, Southside Insurers, Heritage House and Lewis Metal Works with all proceeds to benefit Halifax Town Revitalization.
