Officers of the Halifax County Sheriffís Department are continuing to investigate several break-ins around the County. Deputy Joey Adams is working the April 15 grand larceny which took place at the home of
Walter Woody on Cluster Springs Road, South Boston. Two 22 rifles, a 38 pistol and a 12 gauge shotgun were taken from the home. Deputy Patrick Clayton is investigating a break-in which occurred at the home of Royle
Mayberry on Cedar Grove Road, Alton. Mr. Mayberry reported that a 25 caliber handgun, an automatic rifle, five spools of coaxial cable, roll ground cable and a 100 foot extension cord were taken from his home.
