A 29 year old Alton man was killed early yesterday morning on US
Route
58 about one-quarter mile from its intesection with State Route 708
(Cedar Grove Road).
Kevin Wayne Talbott of Paradise Road died at the scene of the single
vehicle accident after the 1999 Ford Taurus he was driving veered
off
the left side of the roadway. Overcorrecting, the car then went off
the
right side and struck a culvert before hitting a tree.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday morning as Talbott was
eastbound and wearing a seat belt. Virginia State Trooper D.H. Hess
investigated the accident.
