ED#7 Supervisor Lottie Tuck Nunn announced last week that she will seek
re-election to the supervisor's seat in her district.
Nunn has served on the board since 2000 and is a member of the County's
Fire Commission and Agriculture Committee. Prior to election to the
Board of Supervisors she served 16 years on the Halifax County School
Board.
Nunn said she has enjoyed serving her constituents and is anxious to
continue to help the people of her district, as well as all the
residents of Halifax County. Nunn has also been a leader in getting the
new animal control shelter.
Nunn's annoucement brings to four the number of Supervisors who are
seeking re-election in the upcoming November General Election. Earlier
ED#4 Supervisor Doug Bowman, ED#5 Supervisor James Edmunds and ED#8
Supervisor William B. Claiborne announced they will seek re-election to
their respective seats.
