
2006 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR — Larry Sneed, chairman of the Chamber of
Commerce Board of Directors, presents the 2006 Business of the Year
award to South Boston Speedway employees Cathy Rice, Helen Barksdale
and Nick Igdalsky. The business was cited for helping to start the
Halifax County Motorsports Academy and bringing hundreds of thosands of
people to South Boston, as well as celebrating 50 years of racing

Person of the Year" to Bill Kelehar, who is the plant manager of Annin
Flag Company and who serves on the Industrial Development Authority,
the Halifax County Economic Development Council and is a past chairman
