South Boston Town Council members will have a very short committee work
session this afternoon beginning at 5:45 p.m. in Council Chambers on
Yancey Street.
The only issue before the Current Issues Committee focuses on a
recommendation from the Town Planners to rezone a lot located at 1121
Noblin Avenue from B-2 General Business to R-2 Medium Density
Residential. Melody Gordon is requesting the change and a public
hearing on her application has been advertised for the October 1
Council meeting.
The Finance Committee will also review the Town's monthly financial
statement in its only business listed on this afternoon's agenda.
