South Boston Police are seeking the person responsible for the Saturday
shooting which took place in Westside Trailer Park. When hey responded
to the shooting there, they found a male subject who had been shot in
the lower back/buttocks area. According to a report filed by Officer W.
D. Kiefer, who was the first officer on the scene, the victim allegedly
was standing in the trailer park when he was shot by an unknown
individual.
The victim was transported to Halifax Regional Hospital where he was
treated for the single gunshot wound and listed in stable condition.
South Boston Police are asking that anyone with information about this
shooting call the department at (434)575-4273. Persons may remain
anonymous and they may call Crime Stoppers at (434)575-TIPS. Crime
Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest
and conviction of those involved.
