New sheriff taps Logan as next chief deputy
Sheriff-elect Stanley Noblin yesterday announced his new administrative
staff which will take over on January 1, 2008.
"I'm please to announce that the top four men in the department bring
with them many years of experience in law enforcement," Noblin said.
Thomas Logan, who will be a major in the department, will be Noblin's
Chief Deputy. Logan has some 20 years of law enforcement experience.
Steve Cassada with 28 and 1/2 years and Larry Fears with 30 years of
experience will serve as captains in the department and Keith Henderson
with 16 years of experience will serve as lieutenant.
Noblin said the department has some well trained officers and he will
announce his full staff early in the new year.
