Glenda Hudson Bowes
Glenda Hudson Bowes, 63, of 4381 Halifax Road, Roxboro, NC died
Thursday, November 29, 2007 at her home. She was born in Halifax
County, a daughter of Farris Comer Hudson and the late Woodrow H.
Hudson. She was married to F.T. Bowes and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children
and their spouses, Donald Bowes, Shelbie and Terry Morris, Melinda and
Tommie Rice, Brian Bowes and Jayme Wyatt, all of Roxboro, NC; one
brother, Gerald Bryant Hudson of Halifax; four sisters, Irma Jean
Wilborn of Merritt Island, FL, Myrna Loy West of Clarksville, Lottie
Page Hudson of Roxboro, NC and Bonnie Lou Wilson of Virgilina; six
grandchildren, Autumn Bowes, Carsen Bowes, Nathan Morris, Kayla Rice,
Preston Bowes, Aiden Bowes. She was preceded in death by her brother,
Lester Stover Hudson and sister, George Anna Wilborn.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Mill Creek Baptist Church with
Rev. Tommy Robertson and Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial
followed in Person Memorial Cemetery.
