Mr. Jerry Brann Conner, Jr., 32, of 6140 McDonald Road, Scottsburg died

Saturday, June 28, 2008 in Campbell County.  He was born in Halifax

County on April 15, 1976, son of Jerry Brann Conner, Sr. and Sandra

Rickmond Conner.  He was a member of Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Kayden Brann

Conner of Scottsburg; one sister, Jennifer Renee Conner of Scottsburg;

one nephew, Conner Jacob Watts; two grandmothers, Lillian Snead

Rickmond and Mattie Giles Conner, both of Scottsburg; two special

friends, Candy Gravitt and Steve Emory.  He was preceded in death by

two grandfathers, Eugene S. Rickmond and Willie Frank Conner.

Funeral services will be held today at 2:00 p.m. at Fork Baptist Church

with Rev. Jason Murray officiating.  Burial will follow in the church

cemetery.  The family expresses their gratitude to the men and women of

the Brookneal Fire Department, Brookneal Rescue Squad, Altavista Fire

and Rescue and the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries for their

services and professionalism.
