The Comets played very well at times Friday, and forged a comeback that
forced extra innings. Halifax also missed chances to send Osbourn packing.
Still, HCHS (21-4) is enjoying one of the best seasons by any spring sports
team in school history. The Comets also get a fresh start, as all of the
remaining 'Elite Eight' are 0-0 in the state tournament heading into
