Taking the lead on recycling
PUSHING RECYCLING — Members of Halifax
Town Council posed Tuesday night with the recycling bins
that the Town offers residents for their recyclables.
Halifax is reminding citizens that recycling in the Town
is mandatory and failure to do so carries some stiff
penalties. Council offers the bins free of charge and
weekly pick-up is carried out each Wednesday morning.
Shown with the bins are Councilmen Phil Hollis, Allen
Stevens, Dick Moore, Town Manager Carl Espy, Mayor Leon
Plaster and Councilmen Charles Parker and Jack Dunavant.
