MUCH NEEDED HELP — The American Red Cross blood drive
made a stop at
Halifax County High School on Wednesday inside the gym.
Here Martha
DeJarnette takes two units of red blood cells and gives
back platelets,
plasma and saline solution to rehydrate high school
junior Alex Robbins. The red blood cells go to treat cancer patients.
Robbins, a first time donor, stated that he his following in his
father's footsteps in donating blood to help other people. (Danny
