TOTAL LOSS — This single wide mobile home of Lawrence and Margie Monroe of 2185 Mountain Road, Halifax was declared a total loss after a blaze
broke out there around 11:23 p.m. Tuesday night. Firefighters with the
Halifax Volunteer Fire Department, assisted by one truck and 13 members
of the South Boston Fire Department, responded to the call. The couple
lost all their belongings. The local Red Cross chapter is assisting the
Monroes.
