The 27th Annual Virginia Cantaloupe Festival will be held Friday, July
27, 4-10 PM, at the Halifax County Fairgrounds.  Tickets are only $25
and include food, beverages and entertainment.  Ticket prices increase
to $30 on July 1, so purchase your tickets early at any of the
following locations:  Halifax County Chamber of Commerce, Debbie's
Staffing, GCR Company, Greased Lightning, Triangle Florist, World of
Sports and The Vintner's Cellar.
Virginia Cantaloupe Festival T-Shirts are now available at the Chamber
office or online at www.valopefests.com for $15.  Colors for ladies
t-shirts are Caribbean blue and white, and the sleeveless tank is hot
pink.  Men's shirts are light blue and vegas gold.
