Members of the Halifax County Sheriff's Department continue to
investigate larcenies across the County. Deputy Patrick Clayton is
investigating a grand larceny which took place at the residence of
Robert Barksdaleon Turkey Track Lane, Nathalie on February 20. The
following items were taken from a mobile home on the Barksdale
property: three bicycles, a mini-bike, two push type lawnmowers, a
go-cart frame and two motors and a utility trailer.
Deputy Joey Adams is investigating a February 28 breaking and entering
at the home of William Cash of Sunny Lane, Scottsburg. The front door
was kicked in to gain entrance and a Playstation 3 and a PSP portable
was taken from the home.
Deputies Dave Irby and Craig Spencer are investigating the break-in at
the home of Roger Hazelwood of Mt. Laurel Road, Clover, March 4. A
window pane was broken out of a glass door to gain entrance. A ladies
diamond ring, money and a Mossberg shotgun was taken.
