OVER 10 YEARS OF SERVICE TO SOUTH BOSTON — Cathy Cole receives a
resolution of recognition and framed print of downtown from Wayne
Fuller, President of Destination Downtown South Boston. In the back

Cathy Cole, who served on the Downtown Business Association for the
past ten years was honored on Friday with a resolution of recogition
and a framed print of Downtown from Wayne Fuller, President of
Destination Downtown South Boston (DDSB). Cathy served as a board
member of the DBA starting in 1997 and then was a board member and
secretary of DDSB since its inception. She has been instrumental in the
Town with her interest, participation and volunteer efforts in many
projects through her service to the community. She also served as a
member of the DDSB promotions committee.
The resolution reads: WHEREAS, Cathy Cole has contributed her time,
energy, and talents in so many ways to improve the quality of life
enjoyed by our community; and
WHEREAS, she unselfishly served as a Board Member of The Downtown
Business Association starting in 1997 and was instrumental through her
foresight and determination in helping to revitalize Downtown South
Boston; and
WHEREAS, she served as a Board Member and Secretary of Destination
Downtown South Boston since its inception, and has been instrumental to
South Boston by her interest, participation and volunteer efforts in
many projects through her service to the community; and
WHEREAS, she served as an instrumental member of the Promotions
Committee of Destination Downtown South Boston;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Destination Downtown South Boston,
Inc. expresses sincere thanks and appreciation for the effort and
assistance of Cathy Cole and does hereby commend her for her faithful,
devoted service and valuable contributions to our Community and
Downtown South Boston.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that Destination Downtown South Boston prepare a
copy of this resolution for presentation to Cathy Cole as an expression
of admiration, respect, gratitude, and best wishes for over ten years
of dedicated service.
