Two local men have been named by Governor Timothy M. Kaine to serve on
statewide boards. On Thursday, July 12 the Governor named John Edward
"Ward" Burton to continue serving on the Board of Game and Inland
Fisheries. Burton will serve with John W. Montgomery, Jr., an attorney
in Henrico County and Mary Louisa Pollard of Lancaster County,
president of the Northern Neck Land Conservancy.
The Governor also named Page Wilkerson of Alton to continue his service
on the Virginia Pork Industry Board. Wilkerson will be serving with
Bobby H. Bryan, a Dillwyn self employed farmer and the Honororable
Frank W. Nolen of Grottoes, a farmer and former member of the Senate of
Virginia.
