Indictments issued Monday

A Mecklenburg County Grand Jury on Monday handed down true bills charging the following:

Janet Walker, concealing merchandise less than $200 value at Lowes;

Felicia Maria Bullock, escaping the custody of an officer;

Albert Donnell Durham, entering the home of Edna Walker with intent to commit larceny;

Abinadab Scott Flowers, assault or battery against a law officer;

Jason Timothy Jones, rape, forced anal intercourse, fellatio with threat of injury to a woman not his wife;

Paul Andrew Lawrence, possession with intent to sell more than 5 pounds of marijuana;

Elder Ray Meade, theft of more than $200, possession of a firearm with a prior felony conviction, theft of a firearm from Sherri M. Stroupe;

Glenn E. Pettos, theft of property valued at more than $200 between February and April from Terrance Crawley;

Trelaine Y. Phillips, attempted bodily injury with intent to maim or kill Anthony Simmons;

Bobby Wayne Powers, possession of a tool with intent to commit burglary, steal property valued at more than $200 from David Conner;

Carlos Antonio Ramirez, failure to bring a vehicle to a stop when signaled by an officer;

Robert Dallas Rice II, possession of a firearm after a felony conviction;

John Kent Russell, DUI, third offense’

Joseph H. Wescott, conveying a threat to Johanna Miltner to bomb or burn her home;

Johnny Ray Whitlow, possession of a Schedule I substance’

Trelaine Y. Phillips, attempted bodily injury with attempt to maim or kill Anthony Simmons.
