Sports SBS cranks up 2010 season Saturday03/11/10 - 1:24 pm
South Boston Speedway will crank up the 2010 season Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the running of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Twin 75's race program.

On Saturday, the Halifax County High School motorsports teams will have their varsity and jayvee cars running in the race at South Boston Speedway.

Halifax County High School won its lone varsity baseball scrimmage, 6-4, over visiting Heritage Tuesday night, and head coach Kelvin Davis came away generally positive about the Comets’ efforts.
