Opinion Exciting boredom

Dear Viewpoint:From Excitement to Boredom - The new year came in with quite a bang, snow, sleet and freezing rain. Snow resting peacefully on the limbs of each tree, so beautiful and breathtaking as can be. Shrubbery and bushes covered with ice like sparkling diamonds and sheets of glistening glass, each individual wondering ‘how long will this breathtaking beauty last?’ Suddenly after days of inclement weather continued to fall, excitement no longer bouncing off the wall. Beauty is not seen or appreciated by many or may be all. Children and grownups waiting for it to disappear excitement has worn off boredom creeping in every one wondering when will this beautiful but dangerous weather end. Sighs, moans and groans suddenly appear, little and big minds looking out of windows with anticipation and fear, wondering ‘when will the weather clear up? when will it all end?’ Our God, our Father knows the answer and have an answer for all who question his work, and ask impatiently ‘when?’ Carolyn Edmondson |
