Opinion All hail Miss AmericaSoVaNow.com / February 11, 2010
Dear Viewpoint:I and all the other employees at Sinai Elementary were delighted to hear that former Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron was crowned Miss America on Saturday, Jan. 30. Cameron visited Sinai Elementary a few months ago and she read to the children and sang to them and spoke on the positive ways of life. For the past 4-5 years, Miss Virginia has visited Sinai Elementary and this is the first for Miss Virginia to win Miss America. She is an excellent role model for all and she is the first African American from Virginia to win Miss America so we the employees of Sinai Elementary wish her the most continuing success in her endeavors.
