Leonard Adams Long

CHESAPEAKE - Leonard Adams Long, 82, of 600 Block, Sign Pine Road, died February 25, 2010. He was a native of Halifax County, a son of the late Addison and Lula Long and was married to the late Evelyn Clark Long. He was a retired truck driver and an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Joyce L. Dean; two sons, Ken Long and Leonard Wayne Long, all of Chesapeake; a sister, Thelma Harmon of South Boston; a brother, Ray Long of Danville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Sunday at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood officiating.
