Mrs. Cavanaugh is survived by: a daughter, Brenda C. Siffert of South Boston, a son, James “Jimmy” W. Cavanaugh Jr. and wife Susan of Walterboro, S.C., four grandchildren: Jeff Siffert and wife Pam of Chesterfield, Donna Craven and husband Johnny of Walterboro, S.C., James W. “Bill” Cavanaugh III of Walterboro, S.C. and Jason W. Cavanaugh of Walterboro, S.C.; six great-grandchildren: Aeriel Siffert of South Boston, Courtney Siffert and Tiffany Siffert, both of Chesterfield, Sarah Craven and Shelby Craven and Miles Cavanaugh, all of Walterboro, S.C.; two sisters: Virginia Patterson amd Elizabeth Thaxton, both of South Boston and one brother: Walter Norman of Bracey. She was preceded in death by: a grandson, Joe Siffert, three brothers and three sisters. A funeral service for Mrs. Cavanaugh will be held at the First Baptist Church, South Boston on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. Dave Anderson and the Rev. Susan Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
