Delores Glenn Brown

Mrs. Delores Glenn Brown, 70, of Mason Chapel Road, Alton died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her home. She was born in Washington, DC on January 15, 1940, a daughter of the late Willie Lee Glenn and Estelle Briggs Glenn. She was married to the late Clement Brown and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline B. Coleman of Alton; two sons, Roderick Brown of Alton and Carlton Brown of Woodbridge; four grandchildren, Catonya Stroman, Amanual Coleman, Brittany Bell and Alexander Brown; one daughter-in-law, Grace L. Brown; two sisters-in-law, Beatrice McNeill and Ethleen Pratt; one brother-in-law, Mackie Grant Sr.; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Clement Brown Jr., Elliott Brown, one daughter, Christina Brown, four sisters, Thelma Grant, Catherine Brown, Minnie Lee Williams and Mary Whetts and one brother, Peter Glenn.

Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Harvey Bigelow officiating. Burial will follow Friday at Harmony Memorial Park, Landover, Md.
