News 2010 Youth Conservation Camp sign ups under waySoVaNow.com / March 09, 2010
The Halifax Soil and Water Conservation District is currently taking applications for 9th –12th grade students to attend the 2010 Youth Conservation Camp at Virginia Tech. The weeklong event will be held July 18-24, at Virginia Tech. During the week students learn about wildlife, forestry, soils, water and many other topics relative to responsible environmental stewardship. The district will select two of the most qualified applicants to attend the camp. If you are interested in attending, applications are available at the Halifax SWCD office, 171 S.
