Mecklenburg County Board of Supervisors members agreed Thursday that the county should unload the old Boydton High School property as soon as minimal repairs can be made to the dilapidated school building to prepare it for sale.

On July 6 at 2:06 a.m., Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 1800 block of Kingswood Road, in the Buffalo Junction area. Upon arrival they found a 43 year old white male with severe injuries to his face and body. The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Halifax Regional Hospital.
