Rev. Sidney Rodriquez, interim pastor at Union Christian Church, delivered the Sunday morning sermon; Barbara Carnevale was organist; Lesley Cole and Amber Tuck were acolytes; greeter was Bertha Elliott. The altar flowers were given by Hannah Hite in memory of her husband, Henry and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Murray.Our prayers for our sick and shut-ins and loss are the families of Curtis Bowen, Geraldine Smith Hite. Fannie Mae Tuck attended a call meeting Sunday at Post 8 American Legion Hall by the President of the Department, Wayne Bowen. The regular meeting of Unit 8 American Legion Auxiliary was well attended Friday. Fannie Mae Tuck gave her reports after Hannah Hite had the pledge and prayer. Highlight of the meeting was helping the needy in our community. Sunday dinner guests of Fannie Tuck were Mrs. Lindy Tuck, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Conner. Mrs. Tuck visited Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Wednesday. Jason Murray, Gregory Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Murray visited Morine Rice during the week. Visiting Hannah Hite during the week were Owen Murray, Mrs. Dan Jaloway, Mrs. Mason Pulliam, Mrs. Wallace Nunn, Jim Murray. Saturday guests of Mrs. Robert Elliott were Joyce Williams, Ginger Klein and Patricia Wilson and Chris Elliott on Sunday. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Tommy) Elliott were Mr. and Mrs. Bud Wilkins and Olivia, Mr. and Mrs. Stacey Elliott, Emma and Evan, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Elliott and Deseria and Stelia McDowell. Mrs. Catherine Smith visited during the week Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Smith and children, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, Peggy Dickerson, Mrs. Allen Keeton, Mr. and Mrs. Junior Keeton. Mr. David Glasscock is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Glasscock. Dustin Tuck and Amber Tuck were weekend guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mason Pulliam. Mrs. Pulliam visited Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck Sunday. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Glasscock, Mrs. Roger Chandler, Mr. and Mrs. Mason Pulliam and John, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Tuck, Dustin and Amber. Visiting Mrs. Mary L. Murray during the week were Mrs. Blair Chesnut, Cameron Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Loftis and Gene Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Daniel were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Murray Friday. Jim Murray visited family here Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Murray and Hannah Hite.
