BLOODMOBILES SET FOR FEBRUARY 8 AND 9 The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be set up at the American Legion, Post 8, Jeffress Blvd., South Boston on Monday, February 8t from 2:00-7:00 p.m. The goal for Monday's visit is 50 units. On Tuesday, February 9 from 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m. the bloodmobile will be set up at the Mary Bethune Gym in Halifax with a goal of 45 units. The ombudsman at Lake Country Area Agency on Aging, Linda Gage, assists and advocates for residents in these counties. The local long-term care ombudsman also seeks to educate consumers of long-term care facilities and their families about their rights and seeks to empower them to find answers to their concerns.
