Worship service at Scottsburg UMC opened with the prelude “This World Is Not My Home” played by Lee Snead. Call to worship was “His Name is Wonderful” by the choir. Mary Tharpe had welcome remarks, announcements, prayer and led the responsive reading from Psalm 25. Hymn of praise was “I Love to Tell the Story.” Mary read Hebrews 1: 1-4. Special music was “Lord Be Glorified” by Lee Snead. Mary had joys and concerns, prayer and led the Lord’s prayer. Offertory hymn was “”The Little White Church.” Ushers were Tim and Eric Snead. Choir anthem was “What a Day That Will Be.” Mary read Mark 10: 2-16 and led the Apostles Creed. Hymn of preparation was “My Hope Is Built.” Mary read Job 1: 1 and Job 2 and her message was “The Patience of Job.” Closing hymn was “Victory in Jesus.” Benediction was “Bond of Love.”

Choir anthem was “Wherever He Leads I’ll Go.” Hymn of preparation was “My Hops is Built” followed by the Apostles Creed. Mary read Job 1 and Job 2 and her message “The Patience of Job.” Closing hymn was “Victory In Jesus.”

Clover UMW met at the church on Monday with Wanda Snead in charge.
