Turns out that the metal spaceship that has been sitting in a yard on the side of Highway 58 west of South Boston for some years wasn't stolen after all – nor was it commandeered by joy-riding aliens

A feral cat captured in the Virgilina community has tested positive for rabies, according to a press release issued late Friday afternoon by the local health department.
