Tractor Pulls and Quarter Scale Pulls, to rip-roaring Burn Outs, the 4th
Annual Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival is certain to
be a weekend full of excitement with a lot of history mixed in. The festival
will feature a Tractor Pull Saturday morning at 11 am with registration
beginning at 9. A Quarter Scale Tractor Pull is scheduled for 1 oíclock. And
for the hot-rod enthusiasts, Burn Outs are planned for Friday and Saturday
evenings at 6 pm.
The 4th Annual Halifax County Heritage and Antique Machinery Festival will
offer three days of wholesome entertainment for the whole family. Come and
step back in time and see the machines, farm equipment, vehicles, and crafts
that helped shape the heritage of Halifax County. Festival times are Friday,
May 4th from noon until 9 pm, Saturday, May 5th from 9 am to 9 pm, and
Sunday, May 6th from 1 pm until 5 pm at Halifax County Fairgrounds on Hwy
360 East. Delicious festival foods will be available on the grounds all
weekend, as well as live musical entertainment, games for the children,
antique tractors, machinery and tool exhibits, craft exhibits, hit and miss
