public to the 3rd Annual Halifax County Chamber of Commerce Business
Expo on September 25 at the World of Sports.  The event is open to the
public 11am-4pm. Thousands of dollars in door prizes will be given away at the popular  event, including trips to Las Vegas, Apple IPOD, savings bond,
certificates of deposit, gift certificates, Romance Package from The
Inn at Berry Hill and much more. "Business in Halifax County — A Sure Bet" is this year's theme.  The  expo is a great opportunity for businesses to showcase their products  and services to the citizens of Halifax County. "We're really excited about the event," stated chair Kathy Farley of  Cherokee Tobacco Company.  "The committee has worked very hard.  We're  also awarding one booth with a "Best in Show" award.  The exhibitors  have put in a tremendous amount of work on their booths.  A lot of them  are dressing up and participating in our Vegas theme," she continued.
