The South Boston Police Department arrested 20 year old Ricky C.
Cook
of Burtis Avenue in the Town of South Boston for possession of a
controlled substance (crack cocaine). Senior Officer S. Edmonds was
the arresting officer.According to a report filed by Edmonds, the
South Boston Police Department received a complaint regarding a suspicious
vehicle with
several occupants parked in the area of Boyd Street and Childs
Avenue.
In furtherance of the investigation, Senior Officer Edmonds
recovered
what appeared to be suspect crack cocaine from the person of Mr.
Cook.
Mr. Cook was taken into custody without incident and was transported
to
the Blue Ridge Regional Jail where he was remanded under a $5,000
secured bond.
