Sunday, call to worship was verses one and three of "I'll Fly Away" by

the choir at Hitesburg Baptist Church. Carl Daniel read the

announcements and welcomed everyone. Prayer time ended with a prayer

from the Deacon of the Week, Johnny Szynklewski. Choir special was "O

The Glory Did Roll". Hymn was "Heaven Came Down". Everyone

fellowshipped with one another. Jimmy Wilson sang "A Rose Among the

Thorns". Tammy Lloyd provided the music. Children's sermon, which was

lead by Rev. Watts, was concerning the salt of the Earth/preservers of

the communities, states, nations, etc. Deborah Pulliam played the

musical interlude. Reverend Bob Watts brought the sermon entitled "The

Act of Forgiveness". Scripture came from Matthew 5:13-16, 2 Kings and

Matthew 5:3-10. Hymn was "Jesus Is Lord of All". Visitors at HBC

Sunday included Joey and Donna Hastings, Lindsey Hastings, William

Sehen, Dakoda Cash, Dewey Cash, Heath and Chasity Wilson and Wendy

Powell.

Last Sunday through last Wednesday, HBC, and others, enjoyed a revival

with Dr. Ed Yount as the guest speaker. Last Sunday evening, Fork

Baptist Group sang at the revival. Last Monday, Grace Baptist Quartet

sang. Last Tuesday, Harold Young and Friends brought the music for the

revival. Last Wednesday, the Hitesburg Choir delighted everyone with

hymns.

Last Monday, David Martin and Lois Martin visited Janie Keeton. Last

Tuesday, her guests included Wade Overby, Charlie Overby and David.

Last Wednesday; Annie Sue Overby, Wade, Charlie, Pat Gordon and Jerry

Gordon visited Mrs. Keeton. Thursday, her guests were Donald Wall,

Louis Vaughan Jr. and Wade. Janie and Wade visited Tony Martin and

Irene Hogan this day as well. Friday; Wade, Charlie, Pat G., David M.

and Jerry G. visited Janie. Saturday, Mrs. Keeton's guests included

Annie Sue and Lois. Janie and Annie Sue visited Carrie again this day.

Monday, Janie's guests included Annie Sue, Courtney Tuck, Sam Bowen

and David. Also this day; Janie, Annie Sue and Courtney visited Etta

Wall and Carrie.

Those visiting Harold and Delores Hamlett and Rocki Hamlett Sunday

included Mr. and Mrs. Willard Overby. Alma Anderson enjoyed supper

with the Hamletts Sunday evening.

Mrs. Ralston visited Mr. and Mrs. Decatur Overbey and Wanda Carter a

couple of times throughout the week. Those visiting the group Thursday

included Doris Hudson, Gladys Newcomb, Yvonne Overbey, Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Overbey and Joe Council. Evelyn Stewart visited them Saturday.

Joe enjoyed an extended visit with Mrs. Carter and the Overbey's. He

stayed until Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Willard and Ruth Overby visited Lois Goad throughout the

week. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Heiter Griffin Friday evening. Sunday;

Ruth, along with a few others, attended the WMU meeting and supper at

HBC.

Michael Smith visited Frances Forlines Sunday.
