Worship service at Scottsburg UMC opened with the prelude
"He Is
Exalted" played by Lee Snead. Call to worship was "My
Jesus, I Love
Thee" by the choir. Pastor Bonnie Pizzeck had welcome
remarks,
announcements, prayer and led the responsive reading from
Psalm 51.
Hymn of praise was "God of Grace and God of
Glory." Offertory hymn was
"Jesus Is Coming Again." Ushers were Tim and Eric
Snead. Pastor
Bonnie had joys and concerns, pastoral prayer and the Lord's
prayer.
Call to prayer was "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" by the
choir. Choir
anthem was "Without Him." Pastor Bonnie told the youth
message on "No
Club Dues in Heaven" followed by the Apostle's Creed. Hymn
of
preparation was "How Firm a Foundation." Scripture reading
was from
Leviticus 27: 1, 30-34, Matthew 22: 15-21 and Pastor
Bonnie's message
"On April 15, Deadline for Taxes." Benediction was
"Threefold Amen."
Missy Snead had closing prayer. Evan Snead was acolyte.

Tharpe on organ.

the choir.
